I am from a very small town where there were not many opportunities for me to pursue animation in that location. With that in mind, I signed up for the military which took me to various places around the world. I was an avionic technician where I worked on electronic components for fighter jets. I troubleshot systems and collaborated with the pilots to make sure each jet was functioning properly. During 2016, I was the only sailor in my command who worked with Boeing to fix a jet on and off shift to get it fully operational. Later, I was awarded a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for my work.

After years of naval service, I decided to pursue my dream career. I ended up in the Seattle area where I continued my education through DigiPen Institute of Technology to become an Animator for games. I love the creative process of games and collaborating with others to find the best way to make a fun and beautiful experience for players. Although animation is my main focus, I also enjoy the technical aspect of game development and seeing what can be created today.
